Netball Coaching Tool Kit Launched

Netball New Zealand in conjunction with Fisher & Paykel launched today its first ever on-line coaching tool kit www.netballcoachingtoolkit.co.nz. The Coaching Toolkit is an on-line programme where coaches can go to get activities to develop skills and tactics that are age group specific.

NNZ Coach Development Manager Leigh Gibbs said the aim of the new website is to provide coaches with free resources that will develop player skills and tactical understanding.

“We want to keep players intrigued and determined throughout training and provide resources for coaches that are specifically designed for the different netball communities whether your involvement is in Fun Ferns, Future Ferns, Year 7 & 8, Secondary or Senior netball – the Netball Coaching Tool kit has something for everyone”, she said.

Coaching content for the site was developed by Leigh Gibbs, Nicola Jones (former Otago Coach) and NNZ CoachForce personnel
