New Zealand Cricket has begun an international search for a new coach for the BLACKCAPS.

"We have a very exciting group of players for a top cricket coach to develop," NZC CEO Justin Vaughan said.

"We are now formally seeking applications for the role.

"We are looking for candidates who have the experience and drive to both improve the BLACKCAPS in both forms of the game.

"We have a very good core group of players and the new coach should be looking to develop a side that will regularly win world events in the one-day arena as well as improving their Test performances.

"We need a coach who will build on the current solid foundation and take it to the next level."

NZC is hoping to hear from suitably qualified candidates from throughout the world.

Applications close on 4 August and further details can by found at New Zealand Cricket’s website, BLACKCAPS.co.nz, at http://www.blackcaps.co.nz/content/corporate/careers/landing.aspx .

Current BLACKCAPS coach John Bracewell is leaving the role at the end of his contract to coach Gloucestershire.
