Mapara submissions available for comment

Submissions to the proposed Plan Change 23 - Mapara Valley Structure Plan Area have been notified for further consultation.

The 63 original submissions made are now available for the community to make further submissions in either support or opposition.

Group Manager Environmental Services, Gareth Green was happy with the response to the proposed plan change. “We have received a wide variety of submissions which were constructive in nature, demonstrating the community’s interest in the future of the Mapara Valley,” he said.

Interested parties have until 22 August 2008 to make further submissions. Copies of original submissions, information about Plan Change 23 and the submission process are available at www.taupo.govt.nz or can be requested from Council.
