Hanover’s troubles have bought a huge response to EUFA pressing EUFA to hold a Hanover meeting.

The meeting will be held in Auckland on Sunday 10th August at 1.30pm.

Hanover investors are very worried and while trying to be positive ,the past 12 months have left them very nervous and demanding some accountability.

EUFA are calling on the Government / Securities Commission for Statutory Management of Hanover to ensure losses are minimised.

Statutory Managers in the past have returned very favourably investor funds which is something not usually found in receivership or liquidations.

Coordinator of EUFA Suzanne Edmonds said this morning “The independence of Statutory Management has a far fairer and greater chance of maximising recovery and would certainly instil some confidence and reduce a certain amount of Anxiety for investors”.

A speaker (yet to be confirmed ) will speak to the Hanover investors on Statutory management v other options such as receivership moratoriums etc. It is most likely a motion will be put to the investors for the options they would prefer once they have been professionally informed.

Enrolment for the meeting is compulsory. Proxies accepted.
