An Auckland law firm, Grimshaw and Co are heading to Tauranga to meet with BlueChip investors this Saturday.

A meeting is scheduled to be held at the RSA at 1.30pm, in an effort to help investors who are struggling with their individual situations, Grimshaw and Co have offered a free case by case appraisal to all Bluechip victims in a bid to move individual situations forward.

While some victims have waited anxiously for months to see what is happening with all actions from Lawyers through to Government some are still receiving threats from lenders and fallen victim to the clocking up of penalty interest depleting their equity even further.

A very desperate call from a BlueChip investor who is working with a group waiting on a test case, was distort on the phone yesterday after receiving notices from a lender demanding large sums of interest to be paid.

Coordinator of EUFA Suzanne Edmonds Said this morning “ While victims wait for test cases, their own positions are worsening and some of these people are not receiving an individual opinion, which is absolutely crucial with very valuable time is being lost – clocking up the troubles”.

The Meeting being held in Tauranga will be for all Bluechip investors even those who may have had legal advice or are working in group actions. It is a change for those to get a second appraisal in these times of varying opinions.

Coordinator of EUFA Suzanne Edmonds said “We need to make all avenues available to Victims of Bluechip as their are a number of people becoming ill with worry and who are not making individual progress and we are now in August”

The meeting on Saturday should deliver a fresh and robust approach for people still waiting in very grim times.
