Free expo buses for Turangi and Mangakino residents

Taupo District Council are providing a FREE bus service for Turangi and Mangakino residents to attend the Council and Community Expo ‘Our Neighbourhood, Our Future’ being held at the Great Lake Centre from 14 – 16 August, 10am – 4pm daily.

The Mangakino bus will be available on Thursday 14 August:
· Pick up Mangakino - 10am outside Mangakino Council Office for drop off at the Great Lake Centre
· Pick up Taupo - 2pm outside the Great Lake Centre for drop off at Mangakino Council Office

The Turangi bus will be available on Friday 15 August:
· Pick up Turangi - 10am outside Turangi Service Centre for drop off at the Great Lake Centre
· Pick up Taupo - 2pm outside the Great Lake Centre for drop off at Turangi Service Centre

The buses will be free but residents must book a seat. To secure a seat ring 07 376 0084 by Tuesday 12 August.

As a lead up to the District’s ten year plan ‘Towards 2019’, the EXPO is an opportunity for Council to speak to as many people as possible to collect ideas, dreams and aspirations for the future of the Taupo District. Over 40 Council and Community exhibitors are taking part in the expo, representing a wide range of sectors within the community and demonstrating some of Council’s key partnerships.
