Far North Mayor Wayne Brown announced today that it is intended to appoint Colin Dale as the Far North District Council's acting Chief Executive Officer.

The appointment is subject to confirmation at an extraordinary meeting of the council at Kaikohe on Friday (August 15).

Now retired, Mr Dale has had 50 years local government experience including 21 years as Manukau City General Manager.
