Making New Zealand Prosperous And Safe
ACT Leader Rodney Hide today invited all media to attend the official launch of ACT's 'Law & Order' policy this Sunday at 2pm.
"We will also be announcing ACT's number five candidate. We left the number five slot open when we released the Party List last month. I am delighted to say that a selection has been made and we will reveal who that is this coming Sunday," Mr Hide said.
"Party members and media will have an opportunity to hear our new candidate speak and also to meet them during the launch.
"We will also launch our official policy on 'Law & Order', which is a top priority for ACT at this election. Guest speakers will include ACT's top five candidates, the Sensible Sentencing Trust's Garth McVicar and Peter Low from Auckland's Asian Anti-Crime Group.
"New Zealanders want to be safe in their homes, on our streets and at our work. ACT's candidates and policies will deliver that. That's why we will be campaigning for the Party vote so hard - to make our country prosperous and safe," Mr Hide said.
