New CFO appointed at Environment Waikato

Environment Waikato has appointed Mike Garrett as its new chief financial officer, effective 17 December.

Mr Garrett, currently corporate services manager at Waikato District Council, will replace Warren Stevens who left Environment Waikato earlier this year.

Mr Garrett’s previous roles include that of general manager corporate for Hamilton City Council.

He said he was looking forward to working at the regional council given the very significant range of issues it deals with.
