ACT Icons Come To Wellington

ACT Deputy Leader and Wellington Central Candidate today invited all media to attend ACT's 'ICONS Lunch' - a very special triennial pre-election event to be held in Wellington for the first time this weekend.

"This is the first time that this special event - which combines a magnificent three-course meal lunch with a feast of iconic ACT speakers - will be held in Wellington," Mrs Roy said.

This year's speakers include:

* The Hon Richard Prebble CBE - former ACT Leader, Labour Cabinet Minister and master of Standing Orders.

* The Hon Sir Roger Douglas - ACT Co-founder, ACT Hunua Candidate, and former Labour Finance Minister.

* The Hon Ken Shirley - former ACT Deputy Leader and Whip, and former Labour Cabinet Minister.

* Catherine Judd - former ACT Party President and current successful Wellington businesswoman.
