BLACKCAPS all-rounder Jacob Oram has suffered a hairline fracture to the index finger of his left hand.
Oram took a knock to his finger today while fielding for the Central Stags in their State Championship match against the Northern Knights at Seddon Park in Hamilton.

Central coach Dermot Reeve said scans showed Oram’s injury was not too serious. At this stage it is thought he will be back to full fitness within four weeks at the latest, Reeve said.

Oram still has some movement in the hand, he said, and may be able to bowl in the interim.

“But we will be monitoring his progress closely to ensure he recovers as quickly as possible,” Reeve said.
