The Auckland Chamber of Commerce will lead a first time delegation of select companies to Food and Hospitality China (FHC) trade show in Shanghai this December.

Now in its 12th year, FHC is the most prestigious and largest international trade show in China for importers operating in the food & beverage market.

The Chamber's International Trade and China specialist, Yan Zhang is arranging business matching meetings so that each representative can meet one on one with Chinese businesses in the same industry. The meetings will give each the chance to share thoughts on business objectives and possibilities. These contacts have been identified through the International Chamber of Commerce's extensive global network.
Originally from Shanghai, Ms Zhang has extensive experience in and knowledge of the international trade arena, with a focus on the food and beverage industries.

"Meeting face-to-face and getting a real feel for the market is one of the most important ways to establish a strong business partnership," says Zhang.

"The objective of the delegation visit is to help businesses learn more about the opportunities available to them in China. In particular, it will help our businesses gain insights into how the Chinese market functions within their own sector.

I'm expecting it will be a life changing experience for the businesses travelling with us. The insights gained will certainly play a fundamental role in mapping out the future business path for those involved," adds Zhang.
