ANZ Championship Squads Update

The ANZ Championship has today granted a further 18 working days extension to The Central Pulse franchise in order for the franchise to finalise their playing roster.

Southern Steel, Canterbury Tactix and The Central Pulse franchise had been granted an initial 20 working day extension to finalise their squads. The teams were due to announce their squads today however the Central Pulse asked the ANZ Championship for a further extension to announce their squad on the premise they have only just finalized their new head coach appointment Yvette McCausland-Durie today.

The ANZ Championship took this into consideration and agreed to a further extension. The Central Pulse franchise must now have their confirmed playing roster finalized by 24 December 2008.

The Ascot Park Hotel Southern Steel have applied to the Eligibility Committee to re-consider the eligibility status of their 12th player. ANZ Championship and Netball New Zealand are currently coordinating the appeal process. SKOPE Canterbury Tactix will be naming their 12th player later today.
