New look community services team at Stratford District Council

The Stratford District Council has a new-look Community Services team. Pauline James, recently appointed to Community Services Manager, has made an appointment and given the team a slight reshuffle to create a new dynamic.

Former Community Administration Officer Raewyn Gordon has become Community Development Officer, with the portfolios of aged persons, health and social services, and community safety. Raewyn will continue providing support to the Stratford Business Association in their administration and events.

The Community Services team has also welcomed back Kate Whareaitu, who has previously worked for the Stratford District Council and has returned after a sojourn in Australia. Kate is also titled Community Development Officer, and has the portfolios of youth, education, and arts and recreation. She will also organise Council events such as Citizens Awards and Trade Graduation Ceremonies.

Pauline says she looks forward to the team assisting the community to reach their community outcomes.
