Updated rural imagery goes live on TCDC website

Thames-Coromandel District Council has just updated the rural aerial photography on its website maps.

The new high resolution rural images replace those taken in 2002 and complement the urban imagery that was updated last year.

The imagery can be viewed by clicking the online maps link on the TCDC website www.tcdc.govt.nz and then zooming into the area of interest using most of the options listed in the “select map” toolbox.

The new imagery has been made available to Google for its maps and is expected to appear there in about three months time.
