Fulton and Martin join BLACKCAPS as cover for injury

Peter Fulton and Chris Martin are to join the BLACKCAPS in Napier as cover for injured players James Franklin and Ross Taylor.

Franklin has severe bruising to his ribs after being struck while batting during the first test in Dunedin while Taylor dislocated the ring finger of his right hand while fielding. He also chipped the knuckle bone at the same time.

Both Franklin and Taylor are expected to be fit which will see both Martin and Fulton released. Jacob Oram is still recovering from a calf injury and is not available for selection.
