BLACKCAPS all rounder Scott Styris will have a pin inserted in his right thumb today after he fractured it while batting against the West Indies in the Twenty/20 match at Eden Park last night. He is expected to be out of cricket for up to six weeks. No replacement will be added to the squad for tomorrow’s second and final game in Hamilton.

The squad for the one-day series is expected to be announced tomorrow.
