Council busy consulting on ten year plan

Over the next month, Council will be busy with ‘Towards 2019’ roving consultation sessions in Turangi, Mangakino, Riverside Park, Roberts Reserve, Lake Terrace, Acacia Bay, Omori, Motuoapa, Kinloch, at Taupo and Turangi Libraries, the Taupo Events Centre and at the Flying Proms.

Councillors and council officers are holding these sessions to hear the public’s thoughts on the draft ten year plan ‘Towards 2019’, answer questions, listen to feedback and encourage people to have their say by making a submission.

There will also be an opportunity for members of the public to find out more about the Landscape and Natural Values plan change and the Lake Taupo Erosion and Flood Strategy.
