Council busy consulting on ten year plan

Council will be visiting holiday settlements at the southern end of the lake over Waitangi Weekend to provide information and get comments on three key projects.

The roving consultation sessions will enable people to speak to Council officers and elected members about Council’s draft ten year plan “Towards 2019”, the Lake Taupo Erosion and Flood Strategy and the Landscape and Natural Values Plan change. The consultation sessions are being held on Saturday February 7 at the Omori store from 1 pm to 3 pm and at the Motuoapa boat ramp from 3.30 pm to 5 pm.
