Last chance for submissions

If you have feedback on the draft ten year plan ‘Towards 2019’ or want to have your say about the future of the Taupo District, make a submission by this Friday 27 February.

The draft ten year plan ‘Towards 2019’, the Lake Taupo Erosion and Flood Strategy and the Landscape and Natural Values Plan Change have been out for public consultation for the past two months. During this time Councillors and Council officers have attended various events around the district answering questions, listening to feedback and encouraging people to point out what they agree and disagree with.

Friday 27 February at 5pm is the closing date for submissions for these three key projects.

All submitters have the opportunity to present to Council during the ‘hearings’ process from 23 – 27 March 2009.
