New Qualmark Website Promotes Quality Experiences
With a vibrant new look, easier licence holder search and other new features, Qualmark’s new website is proving popular with operators, visitors and travel trade.
Qualmark Chief Executive Geoff Penrose says the quality assurance agency’s new website includes dedicated content for travellers, along with useful tools for its licence holders.
"A number of Qualmarked businesses have been telling us that many of their booking enquiries come from the Qualmark website, so a refreshed online presence was required to bring it up to date with internet trends, reflect our current branding and integrate the Enviro-logos that are part of the Qualmark Green initiative."
Users can now easily search for Qualmark-licenced accommodation, transport and activity providers in a specific region and can search for operators that hold an enviro-logo.
The new site also contains explanations about the Qualmark programme and each of the categories within it, as well as Qualmark Green. Operator listings include direct links through to operator’s websites and a ‘book now’ option for those that have booking capability with AA Travel.
The log-in area for license holders has a range of tools including the ability to update business details and profiles displayed on the site, download Qualmark licence criteria and a range of business templates, and view a bulletin board with industry and licence holder news.
Currently the Qualmark website features Tourism New Zealand’s ‘100% Pure Assurance’ marketing campaign (read more).
Geoff Penrose says Qualmark is looking at other enhancements to the search tool, along with what licence holders will be able to access in the future, based on feedback received to date.
"There are a number of areas on the website that we are looking at adding to and developing. This includes the potential for individual password-protected assessments to be accessible for licence holders, and benchmarking capabilities."
