White Ferns in training camp at Lincoln to prepare for World Twenty20

CANTERBURY

The White Ferns preliminary squad of 30 players for the ICC World Twenty20 tournament assembles at Lincoln tomorrow [Friday 24 April] for a training camp. The camp runs from Friday morning through to Sunday afternoon.

The programme includes three Twenty20 matches, to be played at Lincoln Green, from approximately 1.30 to 4.30pm each day. These matches will be open to news media.

At the conclusion of the matches on Friday and Saturday, one or more White Ferns squad members may be available for interview.

At the conclusion on the match on Sunday, White Ferns coach Gary Stead will be available for interview.

The final 14-player White Ferns squad is expected to be named in early May. The ICC World Twenty20 tournament takes place in England, beginning on 8 June.
