Kiwi's off the pace in World Series opener
The New Zealand women have finished outside the medals at the opening Dextro Energy ITU World Championship Series triathlon in Tongyeong, Korea today.
Whangarei’s Sam Warriner was the best of the Kiwis in 8th place. Wanaka’s Nicky Samuels was 19th, Debbie Tanner (Auckland) 23rd and Andrea Hewitt (Christchurch) well back in 39th.
The race was won by Olympic champion Emma Snowsill (AUS) from compatriot Emma Moffatt and Juri Ide (JPN).
