Time lapse video helps fight fruit pest

A time lapse video showing the construction of a scale cap by the armoured scale insect Hemiberlesia lataniae is now shared on the Plant & Food Research YouTube channel.

This video, and others like it, are being used to assist scientists with their understanding of the host plant selection behaviour of this important kiwifruit pest.
