Enterprising new board member

Taupo District Council has appointed a new member to Enterprise Lake Taupo – the district’s economic development agency.

Seamus O’Sullivan, who was previously Group General Manager for Interislander, will join six other trustees on the Enterprise Lake Taupo (ELT) board.

Mr O’Sullivan has accepted the voluntary position and hopes his business and financial management skills along with his experience in events marketing will be an asset to the board.

ELT is an independent trust who set the direction for economic development in the district. They are responsible for implementing the Economic Development Action Plan in Taupo which includes organising business awards and forums, promoting business investment, carrying out advocacy and promoting cooperation between organisations in the district.
