Blue Day at NPDC for Cameron Clow Trust
Staff at New Plymouth District Council will be raising funds for the Cameron Clow Trust this Friday (26 June) – and the public is welcome to take part.
Following the death of Cameron Clow in Bahrain earlier this month, a trust was set up in his name to assist young sportspeople in the region.
On Friday Council staff will be able to wear blue – Cameron Clow’s favourite colour – and donate to the trust in support of his fiancée Kate Morgan, who worked at NPDC before moving to Bahrain.
“Kate was a well-liked and valued member of staff, and this is a chance for us to show our support for her while raising money for Cameron’s trust,” says Chief Executive Barbara McKerrow.
A donation box will be available on the front counter of the Civic Centre this Friday to receive any donations from members of the public.
