Tender for pavers

The Taupo District Council is to put 1,500 square metres of pavers retrieved from Tuwharetoa Street up for tender.

The cream toned concrete pavers measure 400 millimetres by 400 millimetres each and are 50 millimetres thick. They were retrieved during the recent re-paving work carried out on Tuwharetoa Street and are in varying condition.

“The flagstones will be sold by the pallet and will be available for viewing within the next two weeks,” says Taupo District Council Transportation Manager, Denis Lewis.

A tender notice including viewing details will be placed in the Taupo Times within the next fortnight.
