Temporary Road Closure for Top of Tangowahine Valley Road

A section of road at the very top of Tangowahine Valley Road will be temporarily closed for three weeks from Monday 6 July to Monday 27 July 2009, to allow for bridge strengthening.

A new concrete deck will be placed on top of the existing one, making it much stronger.

The closure will only affect the forestry block at the end of the road and one property. Alternative access through the forestry block has been arranged for the duration of the work.

The rest of Tangowahine Valley Road will be unaffected by the work, and residents will be able to go about their business as normal.
