Silver Ferns end of year tour confirmed

Netball New Zealand announced today the Silver Ferns will take on England and Jamaica after the World Netball Series in Manchester at the end of the year.

The Silver Ferns will play England in a one off test on the 15th of October in Bath and then travel to Jamaica to play the Jamaican Netball Team on the 20th and 22nd of October at the National Indoor Arena, Kingston.

Netball New Zealand Chief Executive Raelene Castle is pleased to secure the end of year tour.

“Heading into the Commonwealth Games next year and the World Championships in 2011 it is vital for the Silver Ferns to have as much experience against current International teams as possible,” she said.

The Silver Ferns Squad will be named on the 31st of July.
