Racing on day two of the 2009 Volvo Youth Sailing World Championships has been cancelled due to 30 knot winds in Buzios, Brazil. Two races are scheduled across each of the seven events for tomorrow, with much lighter and shiftier winds expected.

The Race Committee will try and make up the cancelled races after the lay day (14 July) when better seabreeze conditions are forecast.
