At Fujifilm we know that good things come in tiny packages – that’s why we’ve launched the world’s smallest 10X zoom digital camera! The Fujifilm FinePix F70EXR features award-winning technology and is suitable for any photography enthusiast who wants a convenient camera without compromising on picture quality.

The FinePix F70EXR’s Fujinon 10x zoom lens is perfect for catching all the action at sports games or to get that perfect travel shot from far away. Developed in conjunction with the Super CCD EXR sensor, this fantastic little camera produces crisp high resolution results throughout the focal range, from 27mm wide-angle to 270mm telephoto.

While long-zoom camera’s small sensors have ultimately seen less light reach the CCD than standard compacts – the FinePix F70EXR’s award-winning EXR technology has allowed it to counteract this and improve image quality significantly against other models.

Introduced earlier this year in other models to glowing reviews, the EXR technology gives the FinePix F70EXR an edge. It is the perfect sensor for a long zoom compact, delivering extraordinary results even in the most challenging conditions. Modelled on the human eye, the user can 'flex' the behaviour of the sensor according to the scene to be photographed by choosing different settings to suit whatever lighting condition.

The FinePix F70EXR also stands out from other zoom cameras due to its sleek compact design. At only 22.7mm thick, the beautifully crafted shell with a double-coated lacquer finish helps to protect the camera from accidental knocks.

A great addition to the FinePix F70EXR is the EXR Auto which takes the guesswork out of what settings to use by letting the camera 'do all the hard work' - leaving you free to concentrate on getting the best shot possible.

The EXR Auto is a sophisticated set of program modes and enables the camera to automatically detect six different types of scenes - Portrait, Landscape, Macro, Backlit Portrait, Night, and Night Portrait. The camera will recognise the scene and not only will it optimise focus, colour balance, exposure, flash and sensitivity, but it will automatically switch the sensor to High Resolution Priority (HR), High ISO and Low Noise Priority (SN) or D-Range Priority (DR) mode depending on the lighting conditions.

The FinePix F70EXR’s features include a 2.7” LCD Screen, Ultra High sensitivity (up to ISO 12800 at 3MP resolution), Dual image stabilisation, 5 film simulation modes, face detection with automatic red-eye removal, super intelligent flash, up to 800% wide dynamic range, movie mode with sound (640 x 480,30fp), high speed continuous shooting of 5fps up to 12 frames (3 megapixel) and 230 shot battery life.

The Fujifilm FinePix F70EXR is available now at an RRP of $699 from Harvey Norman, Noel Leeming, Dick Smith Electronics, Appliance Connexion, Retravision, Bond & Bond, Hill & Stewart, JB Hi-Fi, Farmers, Regency Duty Free, Fujifilm Image Service and other photographic specialists.
