Webster claims third world championship cycling gold

New Zealand cyclist Sam Webster has won his third gold medal at the UCI Junior World Cycling Championships in Moscow today.

The Auckland rider confirmed his status as the world’s best junior sprinter when he won the individual sprint title on the final day of the championship at the Moscow Velodrome.

This follows his gold medal in the Keirin and the Team Sprint earlier in the meet.
