Vili continues winning form

Valerie Vili followed up her world title win in Berlin with two further victories over 20 metres in Germany over the weekend.

The world and Olympic shot put champion won in Thum with 20.45m and in Bad Köstritz produced a winning put of 20.41m.

World silver medallist in Berlin, Nadine Kleinert of Germany, was second to Vili on both occasions with 19.07m and 19.49m.

Vili will compete in the World Athletic final in Thessaloniki Greece on Sunday week 13 September.
At the 2007 World Athletic final in Stuttgart Vili was second with 20.40m, 5cm behind Nadzeya Ostapchuk of Belarus. Vili has maintained an unbeaten record since then, winning the World Athletic final in Stuttgart last year with 19.69m. Kleinert was second with 19.42m.
