News of her upcoming visit to Dunedin on 3 November 2009 heralds one of the most exciting literary events for our City this year. Hosted by the Dunedin Public Libraries in the Sir Clifford Skeggs Gallery, readers will have the opportunity to see the author up close and personal as she launches the seventh book of her Outlander series, An Echo in the Bone.

Set in 1778, in the mountains of North Carolina; the latest novel follows Highlander Jamie Fraser and his time-travelling wife Claire as they struggle to return to the safety of the Highlands of Scotland, from a land on the brink of a bloody revolution.
