Saturday is Set to go Off With a Bang

Pack up your family and the picnic basket this Saturday (7 November) for the TSB Bank Fireworks Spectacular!

“The Fireworks Spectacular is always immensely popular as it’s a safe way to see an incredible fireworks show,” says Manager Events Melissa Devine-Collins.

“We’ll have a great family evening of music and fireworks at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands, with New Plymouth band No Quarter opening the evening then Wellington soul band Higher Ground entertaining the crowd until the fireworks start about 9.00pm.”

There are some great prizes up for grabs as well. TSB Bank is giving away a TSB Bank Saver Plus account loaded with $100, and a Samsung 37-inch flatscreen TV worth $2,000.

In addition, More FM is giving away a Hotspring family spa pool kindly donated by Poolside Taranaki valued at more than $10,000.

Gates open at 6.30pm on Saturday and entry is by gold coin donation. No personal fireworks, pets or glass are allowed in the Bowl.

If the event is postponed due to bad weather it will be held on Sunday 8 November.
