Flight vouchers will have ripple effect
The Dunedin City Council’s Economic Development Unit’s “Bring a VIP client to Dunedin” will benefit more Dunedin businesses than just those that received the vouchers, according to one winner.
Mark Scorgie, Managing Director of Gourmet Ice Cream Co Ltd, says, “We’re going to bring our North Island agent down so he can become acquainted with our new range and set things up for the North Island release in January. We’ll get him down in December and show him some real Dunedin hospitality! He’s the agent for two other Dunedin businesses, so we’ll get together and this promotion will benefit three local businesses, not just ours.”
