The Web Co Finalist in Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards

Auckland based The Web Co have been announced as finalist in the countries leading business support awards for 2010.

On the heals of winning the UHY Haines Norton Best Mid-Sized Business Award at the Waitakere Enterprise Business Awards in October, The Web Co are now finalists in the Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards.

Sukesh Sukumaran, General Manager of The Web Co, said “Being named a finalist is a true testament to the culture of the company, and every member of staff has something to celebrate and be proud of.”

“We’ve come a long way since we refined and rolled out our updated business plan nearly two years ago now to reflect a stronger value proposition for our target market (small to medium enterprises) to engage with us over any other web company in the Auckland market.”

The Web Co employs more than 16 staff across design, development and consultancy; and it is the staff who are the key to the success of the company. All staff are empowered to deliver to the needs of the client, working in collaboration with others within the company to ensure that the client receives the best possible solution to their web needs.

The Vero Excellence in Business Support Awards are in their sixth year, held annually and sponsored by Vero and BDO, they were founded by business support specialist, Sarah Trotman of Bizzone. The awards are a key event in the lead up to the annual Bizzone Business Expo, New Zealand's largest event for businesses.

Winners will be announced on 20 May 2010 at a black-tie gala dinner attended by over 400 guests and to be held at the Auckland Town Hall.
