Huntly Speedway and Northern Districts Cricket have partnered up to deliver a fantastic opportunity for anyone attending one of their events this summer.

A trip for two to the United States to attend a USPGA event and meet Steve Williams will be won by one lucky attendee at either an HRV Cup match at Mount Maunganui or Seddon Park or a Huntly Speedway race meeting. The opportunity only exists for people who attend one of these events and fill in the entry form provided at the gate.

Northern Districts Cricket CEO David Cooper says “Steve Williams is one of the most recognisable New Zealand sportsmen and obviously a speedway fanatic. In talking with Huntly Speedway about how we can work together to benefit both sports we identified Steve as someone who would help us achieve that. However, we have also been working together on other opportunities for our two sports to work together, with an eye to a long term relationship.”

Nigel Wilton, Vice-President of Huntly Speedway, stated, “We are both family-oriented sports that have similar goals: let people come to our events and have fun. We both agree we are not in opposition so, therefore, why not work together?”

The first event in the promotion is the opening match of the HRV Cup domestic Twenty20 competition on Saturday 2nd January, at Mount Maunganui. Gates open at 3.00 pm, balls fly at 4.30 pm!

Competition details, and all the events in which you can be in to win this exceptional prize, are on the organisations' respective websites:
