This is a request from Penny Bright, the Spokesperson for the Water Pressure Group of Auckland:

Got a spare hour or two, preferably Wednesday 27 January, between 10am - 5pm?

Water Pressure Group NEEDS SUPPORT IN COURT!

Numbers DO help!

'TEST CASE' ON METROWATER'S RIGHT TO JUST 'MAKE UP' WATER/WASTEWATER BILL$!

METROWATER V WINSTON CHARLES FREDERICK BLAKE
CIV NO: 2008-004-1058

This is a 'test case' on Metrowater's lawful right to remove water meters (which they claim to own)
- not replace them (for over 10 years in this case), then charge effectively FRAUDULENT bills which they cannot substantiate, because they removed the means of monitoring the water usage upon which both water and wastewater charges are based!

Know any other company that has the LAWFUL RIGHT to do that?

Petrol /gas/ electricity companies - which all use meters upon which their charges are based - which of these can lawfully remove meters and charge whatever they like???

In the VERY unlikely event that they COULD do this - customers always have an option of going to another company for those services.

Metrowater, however, is a MONOPOLY supplier of the most essential of all public services, water and wastewater - vital to health, sanitation and life itself!

IS THIS AN ABUSE OF MONOPOLY POWER AND AUTHORITY????

This should be FUN!!

I'm representing our WPG member as an 'agent' under s 57 of the District Court Act 1947
"Right of Audience".

WHEN: Wednesday 27 January 2010 /Thursday 28 January
TIME: Starts 10am
WHERE: Auckland District Court, Albert St, Auckland City

NB! It is this - 'Metrowater model' that they want to spread over the entire Auckland region!!!

YIPPEE!
(not)

Can you please forward this email to anyone else you know who may be interested?

PS:
1) I have been advised that the last two cases arising from Auckland City Council arrests for 'trespass' are going to be dropped. That will make it 21 -1 to me in Court.
So! You CAN take on 'City Hall' and win.

2) The one case I lost, ( a criminal conviction for trespass at the Town Hall at the time it was open to the public for an Auckland City Council meeting), is now the subject of a complaint which is being filed with the UN, as I have exhausted all legal remedies here in NZ.

3) This is HILARIOUS! Metrowater have lodged a complaint with the NZ Law Society, about me as a 'non-lawyer', and they are investigating!!!!!!!!!!!!
More on that later..................

Cheers!

Penny
