Charitable organisations seeking funding need to get in quick to apply for this year’s SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust funding round which has now opened.

Applications close on Friday 26 March 2010, and SKYCITY Auckland Community Trust Chairperson, Jock Irvine, says the Trustees are looking forward to receiving grant applications from a wide range of community groups.“We understand charitable organisations are having an especially tough time in the current economic climate and this year we are also pleased to announce that we are moving to an online application process which we envision will make applying easier and quicker for groups seeking funding.”

The Trust wants to assist community projects that focus on making a positive difference in the region and we are interested in receiving applications that contribute to the areas of health, community welfare, cultural diversity and programmes that teach life-skills.”
