The Northern Districts Cricket Association and their Northern Knights team are raising money for their official charity, the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, by auctioning their inaugural pink HRV Cup Twenty20 playing shirts on TradeMe.

Each of the 16 Northern Knights players has signed one of their actual pink playing shirts, including star overseas player Thilkaratne Dilshan and BLACKCAPS captain Daniel Vettori.

Eighteen separate auctions are up and running, for example you'll find Vettori's shirt on TradeMe at http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=272735235

The quickfire auctions on TradeMe will close late on Thursday 25 February this week, with bidding for the famous pink shirts already underway. Search the 'Waikato' region in your TradeMe options to find the player shirt you want.

The genuine playing shirts are easily distinguished from the replica shirts sold at grounds in that they have the official NZBCF ribbon on the chest, and the name and playing number of the player on the back. Each shirt is signed both on the front and back.
