Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland regatta - ETNZ v Azzurra in the semis

Emirates Team New Zealand will race against Azzurra (Italy) tomorrow in the semi-final of the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland regatta.

Artemis (Sweden) will go up against Mascalzone Latino (Italy) in the other semi-final.
Racing is scheduled to start at 10am. The first team to win two races wins their semi-final and will go through to the final.

Azzurra and Artemis won their way through to the semis today by beating ALL4ONE (Fance-Germany) and TEAMORIGIN (UK) respectively in the second elimnination round matches.

The best-of-three format for the second elimination round was abandoned when the breeze did not co-operate this morning and the race committee could not get a start.

This afternoon, the teams raced a sudden-death round, the winners joining Emirates Team New Zealand and Mascalzone Latino in the semis.
