Once again two Auckland businessmen have teamed up to produce a unique product, this time in the name of charity.

In an effort to help rebuild Haiti, two local businessmen, Jayson Bryant from The Wine Vault and Gianpaolo Grazioli from Giapo, have turned Cristal Champagne and 24 carat gold into what could possibly be the world's most expensive sorbet.

With only 20 sorbets being produced, at cost of $500 each, the aim is to raise $10,000 toward the New Zealand Red Cross Haitian Earthquake Appeal.

One cup of the Cristal Champagne is available through online auction site TradeMe, TradeMe is also refunding all fees and making a donation to the New Zealand Red Cross Haiti Appeal.
