Miss Tui 2010 Announced

The search for Miss Tui 2010 is over. Aucklander Karma Campbell has won the title and a spot in Tui history along with it.



The 25 year old stood out from the other five finalists and is a worthy winner of the crown. When asked what the coolest thing she’d done recently was, Karma said, “Crawl through bush, mud and a stream to jump the fence into Coromandel Gold; it was the best New Year ever!” Enough said.



Honor Dillon from Tui comments, “Karma showed us she has beauty, brains, personality and a love of all things Tui – exactly the things we were looking for in Miss Tui 2010.



“She has a real love of life, the ability to laugh at herself and a great attitude.”



Karma’s favourite celebrity is Arnold Schwarzenegger, “He was a World Champion and is now the Governor of California. What can’t he do?!” With an attitude like this, it is easy to see why she was chosen for the crown.



So what’s she won? The Miss Tui 2010 crown (of course) and the adoration that comes with it; then there’s $1000 cold hard cash and a year’s supply of Tui.



Showing us her brainy side, Karma scored an interview on Radio Ponsonby’s Breakfast Show and managed to get over 600 Facebook fans.

Impressive stuff. But it all pales in comparison with the number of votes she got from the public on tui.co.nz – over 1300!



Now she’s crowned Miss Tui 2010, Karma is looking forward to chilling out and enjoying her year-long reign over Tuians, and what popular reign it will be – she’s got a dozen Tui to share with her friends, not to mention her fans, for the next 52 weeks!
