Mosgiel Library is welcoming the area’s teens with a revamped space designed to make young people feel at home in a library environment.
Mosgiel Library’s Teen Space, similar to the area at the City Library, features comfortable retro furniture, original art, free access to the internet and the latest books, magazines and graphic novels.
The concept of Teen Space is to encourage the return of a demographic that has traditionally stayed away from libraries. The space is set up so teens can socialise and relax as well as making use of the learning resources.
Mosgiel Library’s Teen Space, along with the Library, is open from Monday – Saturday at 7 Hartstonge Avenue.
