Hands Up! Who Wants To Be Part Of Rugby World Cup 2011?
The Rugby World Cup event grows each time, and it provides an opportunity for people from all walks of life to play a part in making it a success.
We are seeking people to SPIN IT WIDE during Rugby World Cup 2011, and help Dunedin host teams and visitors when they pour into our city. Whether directing visitors to Otago Stadium, greeting incoming flights, or working at the Stadium on match day, the volunteers can create the memorable experiences that visitors take home.
Dunedin’s Volunteer Programme is being launched on 14 June at the Glenroy Auditorium, with two information sessions during the day, at 12.30pm and 5.30pm. For those unable to attend either session, there is also information available at www.rugbyworldcup.com/volunteer.
Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Rugby World Cup 2011 and will receive training and experience to ensure they are prepared and supported.
