An upgraded Queenstown Lakes District Council website www.qldc.govt.nz goes live this week.

“Improvements have been ongoing for the past two years to reflect changes in technology and demand from our customers,” QLDC communications officer Rebecca Pitts said.

“The result is a really easy to use tool for customers to engage with the Council and get any Council information they need.”

Changes include:

  • Vastly improved speed and performance.
  • Improved navigation and accessibility
  • A planning portal
  • A Council document library
  • Online Consultation
  • Events calendar
  • Improved search engine with split results (news, pages and files)
  • More online forms.

Other information available on the website includes agendas, press releases, jobs, public notices, tenders, commissioner’s decisions, forms, district plan, district plan changes, publications, mapping, rates information, general information and much more.

“We would like to thank the team at Loop Solutions for helping us deliver a vastly improved website at an exceptionally affordable rate,” Ms Pitts said.
