High-flying designers to front Air New Zealand's 30,000ft showcase

Air New Zealand has today revealed an impressive list of 30 designers set to take part in the 30,000ft Catwalk; an exclusive mid-flight sneak preview of Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2007.

The Air New Zealand flight will also host to a number of celebrity guests including Kiwi supermodel Rachel Hunter, MTV Presenter Amber Peebles and model Ngahuia Williams; the stunning face of this year’s signature Air New Zealand Fashion Week image.

The 30,000ft Catwalk flight from Sydney to Auckland departs on Sunday 16 September with showings from New Zealand fashion stalwarts Trelise Cooper, Karen Walker, Zambesi and Huffer as well as emerging designers Cybele, Elusiv and Love Lies Bleeding.

Flying at cruising altitude on an Air New Zealand A320 aircraft, Air New Zealand’s 30,000ft Catwalk is the only way fashionistas can see collection highlights before the opening night of Air New Zealand Fashion Week.

Air New Zealand has released a strictly limited number of 30,000ft catwalk tickets for the public to purchase:

The Air New Zealand Fashion Week 30,000ft Catwalk on flight departs Sydney on 16 September at 10.30am (Sydney time). Passengers will be treated to a champagne breakfast pre-flight party, bubbles during the flight and a luxury goodie bag to take away. The designer’s showcase will take place in two parts with an intermission to serve lunch.

30,000ft Catwalk passengers will have the opportunity to partake in the full opening-night fanfare of Air New Zealand Fashion Week. Upon disembarking they will receive full VIP access to the official opening night function followed by the exclusive 30,000ft Catwalk afterparty.
