Stephanie Alexander Author's Lunch at the Langham Hotel

Champion of food education for children Stephanie Alexander is visiting New Zealand in October in association with NZ’s Garden to Table Trust.

Ms Alexander will visit three Auckland schools where the Garden to Table programme has been implemented successfully over the past two years.

New Zealander’s can meet Ms Alexander at an Authors Lunch at The Langham Hotel on Thursday 28 October where she will discuss her career and her newest book, The Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Companion.

• Why: Cook, restaurateur, food writer, author, and champion of food Stephanie Alexander will chat to Lynda Hallinan and Catherine Bell, Founding Editor and Food Director of Dish magazine, about her life in the culinary world and her achievements with the successful Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation – which NZ’s Garden to Table Trust is modelled on. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, and will be treated to a gourmet lunch and receive a gift from Garden to Table supporter Kiehl’s. There will be several spot prizes and raffles with a chance to win subscriptions to both Dish and NZ Gardener.
