The latest High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D) Work Lamp, just released in New Zealand by NARVA, claims to set a new standard in outdoor high performance lighting for use in extreme conditions.

Designed for hazardous working conditions such as mining, forestry and contracting, the new lamp combines the latest Xenon D1 H.I.D lighting with ‘Free Form’ reflector technology to produce an outstanding long range flood beam as close to daylight as is currently possible.

For ultimate safety the Gen 5 fast igniting ballast is internally mounted within a robust housing that incorporates a weatherproof boot, re-wired cable connection and a unique heavy-duty vibration resistant bracket. The extremely versatile bracket allows the lamp to be fixed at almost any angle, and with an overall height of 188mm and width of 119mm this compact and superbly built work lamp is suited to a wide range of equipment and applications.

NARVA says the new lamp has been designed and developed for the most extreme conditions and it is rated to IP67 specifications.

High Intensity Discharge lighting is fast becoming the technology of choice for many transport and equipment users and NARVA is at the forefront of this drive.

All NARVA H.I.D lamps feature the latest Generation 5 Ballasts and D1 Globes, which are manufactured in Europe. This superior technology delivers instant start-up with light output that is closer to daylight for safer working and driving conditions. H.I.D’s resistance to vibration results in up to five times greater life compared with standard halogen globes. This makes H.I.D ideal for not just driving lamps fitted to trucks, 4WDs and off-road vehicles but also work lamps used in forestry, mining, construction and agriculture.
This new technology has traditionally come with a high price tag, However the price has been reducing as an increasing number of H.I.D products become available. NARVA is now leading the market with aggressive new pricing without compromising quality.

Substantial sales of H.I.D products at both an OEM and aftermarket level and a close partnership with Osram Germany, the leading manufacturer of both the D1S globe and Gen 5 ballast technology, has resulted in pricing that is more affordable, which is demonstrated by the pricing of the new Work Lamp now being introduced by NARVA.

This new Narva Xenon H.I.D Work Lamps, with a Part No. 72411HID, is now available from leading NARVA distribution outlets throughout New Zealand.
